HP Filament® (Durabio®)
Filament for MEX Method 3D Printers Using Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation's "Durabio®"

HP Filament® (Durabio®) is a weather-resistant and
surface-characteristic enhanced filament designed for
MEX (Material Extrusion Layerin) method 3D printers.
Durabio® is a resin known for its excellent scratch resistance, heat resistance, and weather resistance. While polycarbonate filaments exist for MEX method 3D printers, Durabio offers similar impact resistance, heat resistance, and flame resistance to polycarbonate, along with weather resistance similar to acrylic.
Moreover, while polycarbonate tends to undergo yellowing due to weather exposure, Durabio exhibits minimal yellowing and proves more effective for products meant for long-term outdoor use. Being plant-derived (BPA-free), it allows for environmentally friendly product fabrication and boasts durability as it is not a biodegradable polymer.
In the realm of 3D printing, Durabio requires a lower nozzle temperature compared to polycarbonate, enabling its use in lower-priced 3D printers. We also offer sample prints for testing purposes, so please feel free to inquire.
Recommended settings
Filament Diameter : 1.75φ ±0.15mm
Extruder (Nozzle) Temperature : 210-240°C
Printing Speed : 20-50mm/sec
Drying Temperature : 80°C for 3-5 hours
Bed Temperature : 80-100°C
Note : It’s recommended to
use a higher retraction setting to
prevent stringing.
