HP Filament®
(PPS Type)
DIC Corporation FZ2100
A cost-effective PPS filament for MEX-type 3D printers with excellent chemical resistance.
This filament is made from PPS (polyphenylene sulfide) resin, which offers excellent cost performance, chemical resistance, and flame retardancy. It is designed for MEX (Material Extrusion) type 3D printers.
PPS resin is a high-performance super engineering plastic with exceptionally well-balanced properties.
HP Filament® (PPS type) is a PPS-based filament specifically developed for MEX (Material Extrusion) 3D printers, offering outstanding heat resistance, chemical resistance, flame retardancy, and cost performance.
With continuous heat resistance up to 200°C, the material maintains high stiffness and strength across a wide temperature range.
In terms of chemical resistance, PPS exceeds even higher-grade materials such as PEEK and PEI; below 200°C, almost no solvent other than strong acids can dissolve PPS (depending on usage conditions).
Compared to other super engineering plastics, PPS offers significantly better cost performance, making it a more economical choice for applications below 200°C.
Filament weights of 100 g and 500 g are available, with color options in black and natural.
In addition, our special high-heat-resistant bobbin allows the filament to be dried at elevated temperatures while remaining wound on the spool.
For PPS printing with MEX-type 3D printers, we highly recommend using our HP Filament®.
Recommended Printing Conditions
▼Extruder (nozzle) temperature: 320–340°C
▼Build plate temperature: 110–130°C
▼Printing speed: 45–60 mm/s
※For this product, the above settings are recommended when using MEX-type 3D printers.
※Depending on the model of the printer, cooling and printing speed conditions may need to be adjusted accordingly.
※Please note that we cannot guarantee print quality even when adjustments are made.
※It is not necessary to place the filament in a dry box during printing; however, considering the moisture absorption of the filament, please dry it before printing.
▼Drying conditions: 150°C for 3 hours, or 120°C for 5 hours
▼Filament diameter: 1.75 mm ± 0.16
※Please note that, due to the characteristics of the material manufacturing process, the filament may contain fine solid particles.
※Fine or intricate geometries may be difficult to print. In addition, large models may be prone to warping.
※If nozzle clogging occurs, we recommend using a 0.6 mm nozzle.
※If the inherent properties of PPS are required, annealing is necessary.
