Product details

Special filament reacts with ultraviolet light.

HP Filament® (UV reactive)

Special filament that emits light in response to ultraviolet light

HPフィラメント(UV反応タイプ)

It is a filament that emits light when irradiated
with ultraviolet light. (Black light etc.)

HP filament (UV reactive) is a filament for FDM 3D printer and it emits light under ultraviolet light (black light etc.).
The printed model emits light under UV light because its internal special material reacts to the UV light. There are three possible colors “red” “blue” “green”.
Because the light emitting material is a complex structure of organic molecule and absorbs light energy efficiently, it emits strongly under UV light (380-400 nm).
It also emits light with excitation light of 380 to 400 nm.
Utilizing this characteristic, it is possible to add anti-counterfeit function and improve product design. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
※Since this product has no weather resistance, please refrain from using it outdoors.
