HP Filament® (XYRON™)
Filament for MEX Method 3D Printers Using Asahi Kasei Corporation's "XYRON™"

“HP Filament® (XYRON™ (Material Extrusion Layering) method
3D printers. It features minimal molding shrinkage and
excels in electrical characteristics and flame resistance.
“XYRON™” (Modified Polyphenylene Ether) offers superior heat resistance, flame resistance, insulation, dimensional stability,
and water resistance compared to general-purpose engineering plastics. Its low specific gravity also allows for the
expectation of product lightweighting. Sample prints for testing are available, so please feel free to inquire.

Features

Heat Resistance
Due to its high glass transition
temperature, it exhibits excellent heat
resistance.

Flame Resistance
With a high oxygen index, it
possesses excellent flame resistance.

Insulation
Its high volume resistivity contributes to superior insulation properties.

Water Resistance
It demonstrates excellent water
resistance due to its low water
absorption rate.

Lightweighting
Its low specific gravity allows
for contribution to lightweighting.

Stability
In 3D printing, it excels in forming
with minimal warping,ensuring
excellent print quality.
Note : These are material characteristics and do not guarantee the performance of printed objects.
Applications
Automotive industry, OA and printer-related industries, electronics industry, solar cells and renewable energy industry, 5G next-generation communication industry, and fuel cell industry.
