Ecryca

Transparent unique extruded product made from DURABIO® by Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation.

“Ecryca” has superior transparency, scratch resistance,
heat resistance and weather resistance.

”Ecryca” can be used as a substitute for Acrylic and Polycarbonate resin which are mainly used for transparent plastic products currently. ‘’Ecryca’’ has high UV resistance, optical properties and surface hardness that are comparable to those of Acrylic resin as well as excellent puncture impact behavior, heat resistance and flame resistance, the characteristics that Polycarbonate resin has.
Furthermore, ‘’Ecryca’’ enables us to make environmental-friendly product with superior durability as it is derived mainly from plant-based (BPA＊1 free) and non-biodegradable raw material.
This product may be employed in various applications, such as LED covers and other optical related components, substitute for high-performance glass material, electric equipments, automotive housings, interior and exterior decor.
Not only Piping but also shaped products are extruded.
